DLAM Breeding Colony Management
Welcome to DLAM BCM Services
The DLAM BCM Team has redefined what to expect from mouse colony management services by executing the breeding process completely while delivering comprehensive and flexible services to UCLA researchers. We aim to provide research mice to labs at the desired age, sex, and frequency needed for studies.
Breeding within BCM provides independence from vendor inventory. We can also maintain strains genetically tailored by labs that may not be commercially available. We offer a variety of room statuses to house and breed colonies, ranging from severely immunocompromised to fully immunocompetent.
We offer a range of animal housing options tailored to meet specific research needs, including ventilated mouse cage racks and facilities categorized by health classifications. These include A2 Gold housing for immunocompromised animals, A2 Silver housing for immunocompetent animals, and A4 White housing for immunocompetent animals.
Our trained DLAM Breeding Colony staff provide a range of specialized services to support research needs. Their expertise ensures high-quality and consistent maintenance of genetically defined colonies.
